TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a new normal to the lives of many. TOTO is leveraging its technology to help people navigate this New Normal.

Toto's culture is founded on the principle of Kaisen, or "perfection". Their latest toilet, called the WELLNESS TOILET, uses advanced sensing technology to aid in consumer wellness.

Water Sense Technology

WaterSense-labeled fixtures for plumbing are EPA-approved and help conserve energy and water while providing the most reliable, safe and secure performance. TOTO USA is proud to be one of the first companies to receive a WaterSense label for our EcoPower flush valves as well as commercial flushometer toilets.

Our Aquia IV Dual-flush Toilet is a great example for an efficient bathroom fixture. It uses only 1.28 gallons per flush, which is lower than the 1.6 grams required to meet EPA standards for an elongated toilet. The Aquia IV features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology, which reduces the frequency of cleaning the bowl and the requirement for additional flushes.

Another method of reducing water usage is by installing a low-flow showerhead, which reduces the amount of water required while bathing or washing. Our high-efficiency Showerheads are WaterSense Rated and feature the most modern technologies to ensure top performance.

Limiting water consumption is vital in a world with frequent water shortages. TOTO's EcoPower Technology, which is used in the Aquia IV and NEXUS toilets, reduces the use of water by using only 1.28 gallons of water per flush.

TOTO's elongated WCs are also EPA certified for high efficiency. They feature a round or elongated bowl, and an height that is ADA-compliant, ranging from 17-19 inches. We also offer a compact elongated toilet that is perfect for tight spaces and uses just 0.9 grams of water per flush.

TOTO's bidets are the most popular in the industry for both home and commercial use. They're not just a cost-effective alternative to toilet paper, but they're also more efficient, since they provide a full-body clean that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and confident. The NEXUS toilet features our EWATER+ technology, which is made by electrolyzing ordinary tap water to produce the solution of sodium chloride ions as well as hypochlorous acid.  스포츠토토  results in an effective disinfectant that eliminates viruses, bacteria and other pathogens. It leaves your skin, and the environment safe.

ADA Compliant

When you are looking for an ADA compliant integrated toilet and bidet+ unit, you may come across terms like "universal height" and "ADA compliant." While there is a correlation between the two, it is important to know that not all universal height toilets are ADA compliant and vice versa.

The ADA standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act are designed to be inclusive of people of all ages and abilities that include those with limited mobility or lower body strength. Toto incorporates these standards into their products to ensure that their customers get the bathroom experience of their choice with ease of use.

TOTO's ADA-compliant toilets are a one-piece construction that instantly enhances the look of any bathroom and provides a functional advantage compared to traditional two-piece designs. By removing the gap between the tank and bowl TOTO's one-piece designs make cleaning much easier by preventing the accumulation of dirt and other debris. TOTO also features an efficient flushing system for their Eco UltraMax toilets. These toilets are water efficient and use less than 1.28 gallons of water per flush.

Two-Piece and One-Piece Designs

Many people who have traveled to Japan have praised the ease and comfort of the Toto toilets they used when they are there. Toto is a Japanese toilet brand that is a one-piece design that incorporates the bowl and tank. They are easy to clean and can be placed in tight spaces. They are also sturdy and last for a long period of time.

Toto was formed in the early 70s by musicians who had done session work for a variety of famous musicians. Keyboardist David Paich and drummers Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro as well as bassist Joseph Williams were all regular contributors to albums from Steely Dan[73 Seals and Crofts[74], Boz Scaggs[75], and Sonny and Cher.

Some of the members also have solo work. Vocalist Bobby Kimball released a album called From the Inside in 1978. guitarist Steve Lukather a second LP titled Luke and keyboardists David Paich and Joe Porcaro recorded an album with jazz pianist Miles Davis.

In addition to their music, Toto has done a significant amount of touring over the years. They released their 40th anniversary album Trips Around the Sun in February of 2018, and then embarked on a global tour to promote it.

TOTO's Total Design principle includes taking into consideration the requirements of people of all ages. Universal Height toilets are available to those with limited mobility. The WASHLET+ line of bidets has completely changed the toilet experience from wiping to a stream of water. Many people are turning to this more efficient option.

Noise Reduction

In the United States bathrooms are often close to bedrooms. Therefore, toilets that are quiet are very well-liked. And TOTO has found a way to achieve that with its Washlet, an electronic bidet seat. By combining a rimless bowl that uses relatively less water, and powerful sprays of warm air that cleans and dries the skin, TOTO's toilets have been described as "magical."

While Japan is awed by its technological advancements but it also has a deep respect for the humble toilet. The Toilet Museum in Japan, which opened in 1998, combines these attributes to inspire people to rethink their toilet habits. A toilet motorbike powered by poop, and other tongue-in-cheek exhibits are designed to emphasize the museum's message that TOTO products are not just efficient and environmentally friendly, but also sustainable.

The museum also displays the company's history of technological innovation, from the very first flush to the aeration technology that reduces waste by up to 90% and uses less water than a traditional toilet. There's also an area that features the company's Washlet, which uses the power of water to clean and dry the user while making the toilet sound less embarrassing by using the sound of birds chirping.

Prior to forming Toto the members of the band, including bassist David Hungate and drummer Jeff Porcaro played as session musicians on many albums of famous artists such as Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher.
